Dr. Steven Hampton, Executive Director
Operations and Finances
Dr. Hampton joined GCEIC as the Executive Director on July 1, 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Education and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. His career includes a decade of teaching high school and middle school mathematics, followed by 17 years in various administrative roles, including Assistant Principal, Career and Technical Education Director, Principal, Director of Accountability and Research, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent. Dr. Hampton has also contributed to state-level accountability and testing committees, served on the board of directors for several education associations, and as a university adjunct faculty member.​Email: shampton@gceic.org

Ms. Stacy Moseley, Business Manager
​​Ms. Moseley began her career with GCEIC as the office assistant in September 2010. Since that time, she has been essential in maintaining continuity and efficiency in GCEIC's operation and management. Stacy received her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2021 and is currently serving as the Business/Office Manager. E-mail: stacy.moseley@gceic.org
Michael Lindsey, Executive Director
Programs and Services
Michael Lindsey joined GCEIC as Executive Director on July 1, 2026. His career in education includes 10 years as a biology teacher and head baseball coach, followed by 24 years in educational leadership. During that time, he served as an assistant principal, Principal of Gulfport High School for 14 years, Assistant Superintendent of the Pass Christian School District for three years, and Superintendent of the Ocean Springs School District for three years. He retired from public education on July 30, 2026. Mr. Lindsey has also served at the state level as a member of the Mississippi Commission on School Accreditation and the Mississippi Accountability Task Force. In recognition of his leadership and service to education, he was named the Mississippi State Administrator of the Year in 2014.
